The capital city of the Czech Republic, Prague is one of the central hubs of politics, art, and history in Eastern Europe. Prague is filled with stunning cultural monuments and some of the best museums in Europe. Prague receives over 9 million tourists a year, making the list of the top 10 most visited cities in the world. While there is pretty much an endless list of fun things to do in Prague, I tried my best to narrow it down to the most engaging and worthwhile.

Visiting Old Town Square
Visiting Old Town Square is an absolute must in Prague. Old Town Square has a variety of museums, statues, and Churches dating back to the 9th century. The most popular attraction in the Prague Old Town Square is the Prague astronomical clock. The Prague astronomical clock was constructed in 1410. It is the oldest astronomical clock in the world.
Prague astronomical clock how it works
The astronomical clock works by showing Prague time, position of the sun, and the position of the moon. The golden hand on the clock points to the roman numerals around the clock and display the time in Prague. The golden sun hand moves around in a circle that is labeled by zodiac signs, which shows the position of the sun. There is also a golden moon hand which shows the orbital position of the moon.
Jerusalem Synagogue Prague
The Jerusalem synagogue in Prague is an architectural masterpiece. Unfortunately, it is frequently under construction which means it has a net that sometimes covers its walls.
Another cool attraction near Old Town Square is the St. Vitus Cathedral and the John Lennon Wall in Prague. You can see their pictures below.

Drunken Monkey Prague Pub Crawl & Bar
If you are looking for a fun night out in the city, I strongly recommend going on the Drunken Monkey Prague Pub Crawl & Bar. It costs around 25 euros, but that includes unlimited drinks (beer, shots, mixed drinks) for two hours and free entry into two bars and a night club. You arrive at the Drunken Monkey Bar where you enjoy the open bar for two hours. It is very easy to get drinks and there is not a long line. I strongly recommend the Drunken Monkey, as you can have an incredible night for only 25 euros. Their staff/tour guides are very nice and keep the party going.
Prague Zoo
The Prague Zoo is another fun attraction that I recommend visiting. There is a variety of animals including lions, camels, and penguins. There is also a very cool gondola which gives you a great view of Prague. Enjoy the pictures below.
Museum of Communism Prague Review
The museum of communism is my favorite attraction in Prague. The museum covers the complicated history of communism in Prague, focusing on its roots following the second world war all the way till its demise in 1989. The communism in Prague focusing on the tight grip that the Soviet Union had over the country of Czechoslovakia. The museum highlights the poverty and how gruesome the living conditions were under communism. There are also audio histories of people who attempted to escape the country, some successful and some unsuccessful. The museum also covers the role that the United States had in Czechoslovakia during communism.
Metro system in Prague
The Prague Metro system is one of the best systems in all Eastern Europe. It connects the entire city and makes it extremely easy to travel places in a short amount of time.
